Paisley Print Dress

Monday..
The sky was thick with stubborn clouds
But the air had a satisfying calm to it
Perhaps it was believing that many people were sitting indoors watching tv, reading a book, taking a nap, or pretending to do work on their computers.. the tube strike can be such a blessing πŸ˜‰

Any Monday that feels like a weekend is so precious

On my precious day I had a good lie-in, pressing my face into the pillow and trying to dream more
I had a full glass of whole milk by the window
Had hot soup/broth for lunch
A slow walk to the post office and charity shops
And for dessert a huge mango purchased from the local fruits shop while watching TV
[in between all this I also frantically checked and re-checked tracking info for the package containing my new camera]

What a relaxing day!

Orion London
Fur collar thrifted
Belt & shoes vintage

Had never heard of Orion previously
The dress I have on is the Leonie Paisley Print dress in a size S/M (i am a UK 6/8)
Apart from the back being a bit loose this was one of the most comfortable dresses I’ve ever worn
It’s so soft and flowy and the lining is smooth, and the whole dress has a good weight to it

May consider Orion in the future when the weather warms up and I need more summery dresses
They also stock dresses for autumn/winter

I’m bored of these shoes
I’m going to sell them

Have to start packing tonight
Leaving for Greece on Thurs morning
For some reason I feel compelled to buy travel insurance this time (normally I don’t)
It’s as if I believe something terrible is going to happen to me urrghh
Maybe it’s all this talk of hiring mopeds and quad bikes..

Oooh, I really love that dress! The pattern on it is brilliant, & it goes so well with the yellow tights.
