I grew up Malaysia and I was educated in Australia (psychology & zoology). I am fun-loving, adventurous, and eccentric (weird). I live for the moment and in vibrant colour. I like to believe that I was born to be happy!
I travel often (43 countries and over 100 cities now). It grows me and it is a part of my carefree lifestyle – something I have built through a huge desire to travel. When I’m not travelling, I spend most my time in Porto (Portugal) and the remaining time in London. I love London. My other special interests are Iceland (3 times) and Italy (11 visits so far!).
I love dressing up. I like to collect toys. Goliath is my mouse from Sri Lanka who travels with me sometimes. Edit Sep 2015 – sadly I have since lost him..
In my spare time I like to sing and play guitar/ukulele, skateboard, dance, go to the beach, or watch TED talks (I love learning).. but mostly I’m out eating and drinking with my friends or making new ones. Talking to strangers is one of my best skills.
I enjoy swimming, surfing, skiing, snowboarding (even with fractured ribs!), dancing (of course), and trampolining. I LOVE BIG THRILLS and perhaps it runs in the family – to celebrate my dad’s 60th birthday, the five of us went skydiving and bungee-jumping together in New Zealand.
I have quite extensive knowledge about food. I eat pretty much anything and everything. I love weird/new food.

I have won a trip to Canada with my writing (about travelling alone and learning from it) and more recently, a trip to Las Vegas for being the best dancer at a silent disco during World Travel Market.
I was awarded ‘Blogger of the Year’ in the travel category in 2014 here.
