Dressing Down

Wore this to a dinner party all the way in Dalston last week
Cold weather + No sunlight = veeeeeryy little motivation to get up and get dressed
SO just wore a gigantic checked men’s shirt over a long tunic top

Ended up having a fab time in Dalston
The food was homecooked and amazing
And we had the funniest conversations

Wanted to share this photo
It’s the street walk home on every day, facing west
Because of this I get to see magnificent sunsets a lot
It’s great

From tomorrow I’m having a couple of friends over for the week
It’s good to have new company I think.. it changes the dynamic of the household, plus it’ll be fun!

I also bought a whole box-full of Halloween deco yesterday for a little party I’m having
I FEEL HAPPY JUST LOOKING AT MY STASH! I’ve got heaps of stuff!
Streamers, banners, door posters, tablecloths, fake cobwebs, more silly masks, pumpkin lights, skull confetti, monster-vein licorice, MORE glo-sticks, lanterns, and then closer to the party date we’ll get some real pumpkins to carve

I heard it’s quite difficult to carve pumpkins
So maybe I’ll just do polka-dots if all fails.. Ha ha

What are you doing for Halloween?
