One Day at Westfield

These are photos taken one or two days before I left London for my holiday at the end of January. We had spent the day at Westfield since I had to do lots of shopping (things for my family). It reminded me of my teenage years, where dates used to involve nothing much more than spending a day at the mall. We would have lunch or dinner, watch a movie, window-shop, and perhaps have a game of bowling or a round of ice-skating if the mood was adventurous.

At Westfield, it was shopping, dinner, and a movie (Black Swan)

Not my idea of a fun date these days, but it was kinda nice to re-live this type of day after so many years..

I got sent this necklace courtery of GogoPhilip ages ago
But somehow only got around to using it recently

The pendant is so super corny – makes me laugh a bit – but I really like the dirty gold colour and how it’s so light-weight

I bet lots of people have fantasized about getting locked in a mall after closing-time
I can only IMAGINE all the things I would do if that ever happened to me!

This picture was taken after the movie and when all the shops had shut
I wish I could rollerblade through the whole place.. just look at the smoooth, shiny, empty floors!

Mall dates are a Malaysian thing just cos there’s nothing much better to do… Lol. Perhaps it’s to do with age too. As we grow up we appreciate different things. Like a picnic in the park when the weather’s lovely. How did u find Black Swan? I squirmed in my seat!
