Big Bow Headband Meets Cape

I inherited this cape from a girl I met last year
Her name is Marie – she’s inspiring, full of life, and loves to eat
This year, she’s inspiring me to spend a couple of weeks in the French countryside learning the ‘basics of life’ and to brush up on/pick up some of the language. Will divulge more about this once I know more!

When she flew off to spend seven weeks in France, she left this cape behind
I volunteered to keep it
I love it, and I think it loves me too – it’s even got a hood!

When I’m feeling cold (this means most of the time) I wrap all the wooly fabric around me like a blanket, and it half-feels like I’m out camping somewhere and snuggling into a blanket. Yeah, BLANKET. I said it twice in a sentence blanket blanket.

This post was meant to be a big one with a ton of photos but I think it’s better split them up
For now, here’s just what I wore.
To follow: what I did wearing this

Bow headband – The Old Blossom Box
Grey wool cape – From Marie
Blue shorts – Cotton On

I tried the ‘blur’ effect at a minimal level on this last photo because I felt adventurous/curious
This must be what people without 20/20 vision see before they put on their glasses or do that thing that gives me the heebie jeebies – inserting contact lenses DIRECTLY into EYE BALLS using FINGERS

Phew, I’m glad I don’t need to do that

Ah I love the cape…LOVING the yellow bow and tights. Haha to the blur effect. That would be me in the morning too!
